Proposition 8 was a California ballot proposition that changed the state Constitution to restrict the definition of marriage to a union between a man and a woman and eliminated the right of same-sex couples to marry.

Since its narrow passage, a series of petitions and protests by gay marriage and LGBT Equality supporters have been launched. Add your voice to theirs by putting your signature on one of these petitions to repeal or to protest Prop 8.
